The Pin Bhaba Pass Trek is a stunning trans-Himalayan journey that connects the dense green forests and colorful meadows of Kinnaur with the stark, cold desert of Spiti. It is one of the most scenic and dramatic cross-over treks in the Indian Himalayas. Starting from the picturesque village of Kafnu in the Bhaba Valley, the trail climbs through alpine forests, glacial streams, and vast grasslands, culminating in the crossing of the high-altitude Pin Bhaba Pass at 16,105 ft.
On the other side of the pass, trekkers are welcomed into the hauntingly beautiful landscape of Spiti Valley — barren, cold, yet captivating. The stark contrast in terrain, culture, and climate makes this trek an unforgettable adventure. The trek is perfect for those looking to witness the diverse beauty of Himachal Pradesh in one journey. While it demands good physical fitness and acclimatization due to high altitudes, the incredible panoramas and cultural richness make it immensely rewarding.
