Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival at Barot and Drive to Lohardi | Acclimatization

Distance: ~8 km
Altitude: ~7,500 ft
Meals: Dinner

Arrive in Barot and transfer to Lohardi village. After lunch, take a short acclimatization hike around the river trail and return to the homestay/camp for briefing and rest.

Day 2 - Trek from Lohardi to Jabaru Campsite

Distance: ~6–7 km
Altitude: ~10,000 ft
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Start your trek into the forest trail, cross wooden bridges, and follow the beautiful tree line toward Jabaru. Setup camp under the stars.

Day 3 - Jabaru to Dehnasar Lake and Back

Distance: ~10 km (round trip)
Altitude: 14,000 ft
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Trek to the lake early morning and spend time exploring the alpine terrain. Witness sacred offerings before heading back to the camp at Jabaru.

Day 4 - Descend to Lohardi and Departure

Distance: ~6 km
Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, descend to Lohardi and transfer to Barot where the trip ends. Say goodbye to the mountains and depart for home.

Things to Carry

  • Backpack (40–50L): Comfortable, with rain cover and chest/waist support straps.
  • Thermal Layers: Base layer tops and bottoms to retain body heat at night and early morning.
  • Fleece or Down Jacket: For warmth at higher altitudes during evenings and mornings.
  • Waterproof Jacket & Pants: To stay dry during rain or sudden weather changes.
  • Trekking Pants (2 pairs): Quick-dry and stretchable material is recommended.
  • T-Shirts (2–3): Preferably full-sleeved, moisture-wicking, and breathable fabric.
  • Woolen Cap & Sun Hat: For warmth and sun protection during the trek.
  • Gloves: One warm pair and one waterproof pair for protection in cold/wet conditions.
  • Trekking Shoes: Waterproof, high-ankle trekking shoes with good grip.
  • Woolen Socks (2–3 pairs): Keep feet warm and dry at high altitudes.
  • Headlamp or Torch: With extra batteries for use in camp or night walks.
  • Water Bottles or Hydration Pack: Carry at least 2 liters of water per day.
  • Personal Toiletries: Toothbrush, biodegradable soap, towel, sanitary items, toilet paper.
  • Sunscreen, Lip Balm & Sunglasses: High SPF and UV protection is essential at altitude.
  • First Aid Kit: Include pain relievers, band-aids, antiseptic, muscle spray, and personal medicines.
  • Energy Bars or Dry Fruits: For quick energy boosts during trekking hours.
  • Rain Poncho or Backpack Rain Cover: Helps protect both you and your gear in bad weather.
  • Identity Proof: Aadhaar card or any valid government ID.

Confirmation Policy

- Within a day of a successful booking, the client gets a voucher of the confirmation through email.

- If the preferred slots are not available, an alternative schedule will be arranged according to the preference of the customer, and a new voucher of confirmation will be sent through email.

- Alternatively, before confirmation, the customer can decide to cancel their booking, and a complete refund will be issued.

Cancellation Policy

- Cancellations made between 45 days of the start date of the trip will be assessed a cancellation fee of 25% of the total tour cost.

- Cancellations made between 15–30 days of the trip’s start date will be charged 50% of the total tour cost as cancellation fees.

- If you cancel within 0–15 days of the trip’s start date, you will be charged 100% of the entire tour cost as cancellation fees.

- In the event of bad weather or government restrictions, any trips or events may be cancelled. In such a case, the operators will do all possible to give a viable alternative. However, a cash refund is not available on this item.

Refund Policy

- If you select a refund after canceling your trek, the refund amount will be deposited into the payment account that you had used while making payment to us.

- The refund process will take approximately ten to twelve working days.
