Starting from Jobra near Manali, the trail passes through beautiful forests, meadows, and wildflower-covered valleys. • Waterproof Trekking Boots: Boots with Gore-Tex or similar lining keep feet dry. Insulated ones offer extra warmth in cold weather.
  • Woolen Socks (3–4 pairs): Merino wool socks stay warm even when wet and reduce odor. Rotate pairs to keep feet dry.
  • Insulated Gloves (Windproof): Choose gloves that protect from wind and cold but still allow movement. Carry a backup pair.
  • Balaclava or Neck Warmer: Protects your face and neck from biting wind and retains heat. Adjustable for comfort.
  • Waterproof Jacket and Pants: A breathable outer layer to guard against snow, rain, and wind. Lightweight but durable is key.
  • Headlamp with Extra Batteries: Useful for early starts or late finishes. Cold drains batteries fast—carry extras.
