Day Wise Itinerary - Pin Parvati Pass Trek

Day 1 – Barshaini to Kheerganga

Trek Distance: ~9 km

Trek Duration: 4-5 hours

Begin the trek from Barshaini near Kasol. Pass through scenic forests, wooden bridges, and waterfalls. Kheerganga is known for its natural hot springs and peaceful meadows. You will camp overnight here and enjoy a warm dinner under the stars.

Day 2 – Kheerganga to Tunda Bhuj

Trek Distance: ~12 km

Trek Duration: 6-7 hours

Trek uphill through thick pine forests, crossing multiple streams. The campsite at Tunda Bhuj offers lush green meadows surrounded by snow-capped peaks.

Day 3 – Tunda Bhuj to Thakur Kuan

Trek Distance: ~12 km

Trek Duration: 6-7 hours

Cross a tricky bridge called Pandu Pul and trek through alpine terrain. Set camp beside the roaring Parvati River in Thakur Kuan.

Day 4 – Thakur Kuan to Odi Thach

Trek Distance: ~10 km

Trek Duration: 5-6 hours

Trek past meadows and moraine-covered trails. You’ll camp at Odi Thach, a scenic campsite surrounded by Himalayan peaks.

Day 5 – Odi Thach to Mantalai Lake

Trek to the origin of the Parvati River—Mantalai Lake. The serene lake surrounded by glaciers is a spiritual and natural high point.

Day 6 – Mantalai to Base Camp (Parvati side)

Day 7 – Base Camp to Pin Parvati Pass to Pin Side Base

How to Reach

Pin Parvati Trek starts from Barshaini, a small village near Kasol in Himachal Pradesh. To begin your trek, first reach Bhuntar, then travel to Kasol and onward to Barshaini.

By Air

The nearest airport is Kullu-Manali Airport (Bhuntar Airport), located about 50 km from Kasol. You can take a flight to Bhuntar and then hire a taxi or take a local bus to reach Barshaini via Kasol.

By Bus

Regular Volvo and HRTC buses are available from Delhi to Bhuntar or Manali. From Bhuntar, take a local bus or taxi to Kasol, then another shared cab or bus to Barshaini.

By Train

The nearest major railway station is Chandigarh. From Chandigarh, you can either hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Bhuntar. Then proceed as mentioned above to Kasol and Barshaini.

  • If preferred slots are not available, we will arrange an alternative schedule based on the customer’s preference and send a new confirmation voucher.
  • Alternatively, the customer can cancel before confirmation and receive a full refund.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 45 days before the trip start date: 25% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations between 15–30 days: 50% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations within 0–15 days: 100% cancellation fee (no refund).
  • Trips may be canceled due to bad weather or government restrictions. In such cases, operators will provide a suitable alternative but no cash refund.
